Sandy McIntire is a successful artist and musician living in West Virginia. She is a juried member of the WV Guild of Arts and Crafts and Allied Artists of WV and an associate member of West Virginia Watercolor Society. Her watercolors have been accepted in juried shows by WV Division of Culture and History, the West Virginia Watercolor Society, and Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg, WV. She has studied with Don Andrews, AWS, Jerry Birdsong, WVWS, and Janet Rogers, AWS, Catherine Nash, TWSA, and Laurie Goldstein-Warren, PWS, TWS, WVWS, NEWS, KSW, WSA, BWS, GWS.
Before moving to West Virginia in 2003, Sandy studied art at the Crealde School of Art and at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. She currently lives in Mount Hope WV where she teaches music and pursues her art creations.
Sandy describes her watercolors saying, “I like to use bright colors and strong contrast to portray delightful people and scenes. My goal is to attract and absorb those who see my art.”
