Artist's Description

Wet Zinnias was painted from a limited palette of vermillion, ultramarine blue, and hansa yellow -- all transparent watercolors. The technique used was wet-on-wet in which the paper is wetted before painting with wet colors. Thus, Wet Zinnias! This is the second painting in the Zinnia series.
