Description
Strawberry Cup and Saucer is a watercolor of a mismatched pair of porcelain dinnerware. The cup is fine bone English china pattern by Roy Kirkham titled Alpine Strawberry. The saucer is probably a copy of the Kirkham pattern produced by James Kent at Old Foley and named Strawberry.
For many years, bone china was produced in England. Then James Spode began producing his bone china in the United States using a slightly different process for creating porcelain. Currently, China is a large producer of bone china.
