One of my favorite animals is the meerkat. They can be both comic and dignified. They are desert mammals that live in the southern part of Africa. This one is sitting on a rock standing guard as the family forages.

"I am intrigued and intoxicated by color. My preferred media are watercolor, collage, and assemblage. I am charmed by geometric items and scenes. I like to paint people and places that offer me new challenges. I use bright colors and strong contrast to portray delightful people and still life. My goal is to attract and absorb those who see my art. Although some of my paintings are for sale, I paint chiefly for myself."
