Back to Basics is my first painting of 2017. I painted these zinnias with a limited palatte of Indian Yellow, Vermillion, Ultramarine Blue and Olive Green.

"I am intrigued and intoxicated by color. My preferred media are watercolor, collage, and assemblage. I am charmed by geometric items and scenes. I like to paint people and places that offer me new challenges. I use bright colors and strong contrast to portray delightful people and still life.
