In the fall, kayakers race through the rapids of the Gauley River in West Virginia where there are Class IV rapids. Others not so foolhardy can admire the rivers banks as summer turns to autumn. This painting was accepted by the WV Division of Arts and Culture for their 2010 juried show of WV landscapes.
